Management |
It is said that life is a long journey that takes us down many winding roads. Yet the most important steps come at an early age. At the ATCCE high schools, helping young people set out on the right path -- and ensuring that the path is smooth -- is not a job but a commitment. This trust involves teachers, students, and parents working together to chart a successful and happy course through life.
Over 10,000 schools spread throughout the Tehran, the ATCCE Schools offers a diversity of learning environments. From dedicated teachers using the latest in computer technology and teaching aids to unique extracurricular programs, ATCCE High Schools foster academic and personal growth.
We strive to put every one of our students at the head of the class, no matter how special their needs. Here, the mission of the entire organization is not merely to educate, it is to prepare young people for the challenges that lie ahead as they embark on their journey of lifelong learning.
The school is not a commercial enterprise as many would think. ATCCE had embarked upon a very noble idea of providing free education to the under privileged students after the school hours. Innovative programs such as the environment awareness programs like Olympiad, astronomy, physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and etc., are conducted regularly to imbibe in the children a sense of duty regarding the educational issues. These and many such initiatives speak volumes about the ideology behind the ATCCE society.
Our challenge to really "know" each and every student has resulted in the growth of the "Academic Welfare" system. This system basically recognizes the importance of a blend of academic and student welfare issues as the basis for sustainable and positive growth.
For the encouragement and quality improvement of educational activities, At both Junior High School and Senior high school levels apart from the academic subjects, all students are required to participate in collaborative research work like article writings between students, teachers, project work like making sundial, solar Oven, paper rocket, Robot/ Robocup …., seminars, Science festivals, summer education, Scientific and cultural tours (like visiting science Museum, Historical places, Libraries of Physics, Autonomy, Chemistry labs, Math's etc. and Physical Education.
We welcome students from across the globe to participate on our programmes, attracting students from across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, primarily. The ATCCE offers excellent support services to all its participants in educational competition.
it
must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence."
Our aim is to work with a mission and purpose to achieve an ever expanding vision, to test our limits and to strive to achieve a higher goal. I have the firm conviction that even if the road ahead poses obstacles, the synergy of the team will see us through. It is the relentless pursuit of ATCCE to achieve the goal of providing complete education in order to prepare the students to face life’s challenges by equipping them with the sword of knowledge and armor of values helping them to tap their innate talents to the maximum in a well planned meticulously executed method.
We equip our children to face the contemporary competitive world with grit and valour, thus meeting boldly the needs and aspirations of the ever changing and demanding times.
Due emphasis is laid not only on academics, but sports, performing and creative arts, education in Human Values, and discipline are given equal importance too. Thus we provide opportunities to promote social, emotional, cultural, mental and physical growth. We strive to develop each child’s potential, recognize his ability, and encourage positive self-esteem in order to develop them into responsible citizens of tomorrow’s Iran.
Irrepressible enterprise and innovation has led the burgeoning growth of the ATCCE. We have always believed in exploring the unknown, charting newer terrains and going for the best each time. We have a vision to excel, a drive to go only for the best and to work in a challenging environment.

"AFLAME FOR LEARNING"
Let us embrace the true spirit of ATCCE High School
On
behalf of the ATCCE (Allameh Tabatabaei Complex of Cultural and Educational
units), I would like to welcome you to our web site.
ATCCE is renowned for being a bold institution that has blazed trails into new frontiers since its humble beginnings in 1992. The School has a proud tradition of instilling good morals and discipline; maintaining excellent academic standards and most of all, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Our vision from the very beginning has been to produce well rounded individuals through carefully selected educational programmes that offer students an opportunity to achieve their highest potential.
As such, our approach to learning and knowledge is based on methods where students are taught to integrate subject-matters thereby deriving the benefits of understanding and applying knowledge learnt from different subjects and disciplines. Additionally, to accelerate and cultivate a holistic approach to learning science and computing studies are compulsory foundation stones that we have laid together with the general stream of subjects.
This testament of our academic success has also proven that investment in the teaching core of the school is essential. It has always been our vision to provide a unique continuous professional development focus to our staff, and we will maintain our focus on realizing this vision.
As we continue on our journey towards bringing quality education that is highly affordable, ATCCE will continue to nurture students that are not only academically outstanding, but also of good impeccable character. We believe that all who come through the doors of ATCCE will benefit from our shared values of Caring, Honesty, Fairness, Trustworthiness and Respect.
We thank you for your confidence in ATCCE and we invite you to work with us to fulfill our mission so that we continue to nurture individuals who are more than able to carve successful paths for themselves in the world of today.

Council & founder |
"Service Before Self"
He
is the guiding light and the moving spirit behind the rapid growth and progress
of the school. The chief architect of its success story, Mr. Mostofi has been
steering the destiny of the school since October 1992.
He rose to become the member of Council and Founder of ATCCE in 1992. Always the keen scholar, A simple, unassuming man who has endeared himself to students and staff alike with his gentle demeanor and inimitable style of directness and informality, Mr. Mostofi is a man with a mission. Embodying the values of hard work, perseverance and moral courage, he is fired with a dogged determination to make ATCCE a `temple of learning' which not only helps students along the road to academic achievement but promotes all-round development and prepares them to be good citizens.
ATCCE, with the motto "Service Before Self", have been serving the Society in the field of education for the last 15 years. There are presently as many as 9 schools under its aegis. The growing number of schools under this organizational umbrella signifies how the need to provide meaningful education, to a large number of children, desirous of growing into educated & liberated human beings, has been fulfilled. Founded and managed by members and luminaries of society, culled from the various walks of life, the organization has always guided its member schools on the path of progress with their visionary approach & lofty ideas. Consequently, ATCCE have become significant portals of learning and growth of young minds. Our credo is to provide an all round development & sound moral base. Fostering character building & nurturing the inquisitive spirit of children, encouraging scientific temperament & strengthening social bonds, are our constant endeavors. Surging ahead with a spirit of healthy competition, balancing a successful career teamed with a contented life, is the gift we give to all our children. Guiding us in this effort of ours is Mr. Mohammad Jafar Mostofi founder and council of ATCCE High School, who is our constant beacon and source of strength.
Managing Director |
Inspired To Revolutionize Education
He
has lovingly nurtured his school since its genesis and seen it mature into a
tall, proud tree. Discipline and cleanliness are a passion with Mr. Jahandideh.
He says all the academic programs and activities at ATCCE work towards one purpose - to help students develop lives of significance for themselves and for others, true to the traditions of the School Motto.
Today, Mr. Jahandideh is a proud with 27 years of successful managerial experience in educational field, therefore he says in the last 15 years, ATCCE has produced a galaxy of eminent men and women, who have brought glory to it not only in Iran but abroad as well.
As it has been said, "It is good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters, in the end." The involvement of the Society in universal educational enhancement and its endeavor to build a democratic and educated nation has made all the difference. It is no more a question of lighting a candle here or there; it is an attempt at total electrification. The whole world has begun to glow with the light of literacy radiated by the ATCCE Society.
Education is a life-long process, but it must develop from firm and broad foundations. The goal of the school is to imbibe in the students a love of learning and inculcate in them a desire to excel at every level. The school also aims at equipping the students with the intellectual and practical skills that are necessary to meet the inevitable challenges in the future.
ATCCE is committed to its mission of imparting quality education. To us, every student is precious and our endeavor is to help every child realize his potential and tap his hidden talents. To facilitate this, various activities are introduced in every academic year to hone the skills of students and make learning a joyful experience. We hope that students develop into well groomed individuals with the right set of values that enable them to successfully face the challenges of the world.
To most of us the end is of greater importance but it is means that determine the end. Discipline is one such factor that gives a psychological security leading to healthy growth. An eminent thinker has rightly said," The great end of education is to discipline rather than furnish the mind, to train it to use its own power rather than to fill it with the accumulation of others". ATCCE recognizes, encourages and reaffirms this truth. It is the sowings of parents and teachers that awaken the genius in a child. Mutual cooperation and communication between parent and teachers would greatly facilitate the smooth functioning of the school and unhindered development of the child. Let us be positive role models for our students to realize their dream. Our fervent hope is to let the wonderful deeds of your child glow for the whole world to see.
To sum up, the mission of ATCCE "to open doors and open minds" and prepare the ground for the future of the nation.
Education Manager |
A
major landmark development has been the inclusion of the children into the
mainstream of school life, which contributes to the strong sense of community,
so characteristic of the School. In other words, children belonging to every
strata of society are given the opportunity to study at the School and build
their future.
These qualities have placed ATCCE on the forefront of the educational panoramic view of Iran. There has been a continuity of purpose, underlying the change and growth of the School. Over the years, ATCCE has steadily reflected a spirit of innovation in response to need, and has broadened its educational mission, by creating an academic environment that fosters close association and the exchange of ideas with some of the top schools in the nation and the world.
So he has a combined strength of 341 teachers at the senior and junior level. They have been very carefully selected out of the best available talents. These teachers are imbued with the spirit of dedication and devotion. They are not only qualified but also have excellent personality and teaching background which is being evaluated twice a year by their Head of the Department.. Mr. Mahmoodi said, "The man who can make things easy is the educator". Thus, the teachers here are competent and capable of reducing knowledge to that simple compound of the obvious and the wonderful which slips into the infantile comprehension. Teachers at the senior school evolve academic environment wherein they develop competence and update their knowledge in innovative teaching methodology for their respective subject. Results of his hard work are that "Our student captured the first rank in Iran at the national as well as international Olympiad competitions.
Once again, it's that time of the year, when one evaluates the achievements, recapitulates the work done and measures the success earned. At ATCCE I feel we have achieved a landmark! From a micro chip, fifteen seasons ago, the school has evolved into a Mega entity now. As we progress to the next millennium....
Academic Feedback |
Parents receive progress reports on their children via Mid-Term Reports and School Report Cards issued at the end of every term via scheduled Parent-Teacher Meetings. The School Report Cards not only show the student's performance under examination conditions, but are also designed to show the student's understanding, application, work ethic and general attitude towards each subject throughout the term. At ATCCE website also confidential username and password are provided to the parents that may enable them to check the results of the exams and daily activities of their children. At the same time they are allowed to feedback their views, and encouraged to arrange private conferences with respective teachers at any time throughout the academic year.
Education Management Center (EMC) |
Management believes that, since students are there, schools are alive; if there is no student then, teachers are no more need. Therefore teachers must be honest with themselves and to their work to accept the responsibility of teaching and training the students.
The Education Management Center is a unique and an amazing learning program for the new teachers and a revival of the sorts for the experienced teachers.
On one hand the ATCCE family has in its fold, established stalwarts in the field of education that continue to be forces to be reckoned with in Tehran and Iran. On the other, there are newer high schools that have the rich experience of their seniors and the benefit of new developments in the educational arena. Some of them are mere fledglings, as compared to those who have been soaring high for decades. Together they make one of the formidable bastions of education.

Curriculum |
At ATCCE curriculum plays a very important role as we at ATCCE believe that learning is not just about teaching, books and lessons but much more than that.
At ATCCE the emphasis is more on the overall development of the pupils, as we understand that schooling is the time in the life of every child, which influences their future.
To do this, creation of world-class infrastructure facilities and a favorable atmosphere is a sine qua known for any pupils to learn not just academics but lessons of life, character, ethics and values. At ATCCE we impart all these qualities in the pupils so that they emerge as responsible individuals.
ATCCE has a curriculum that is integrated. The curriculum is concept an exam oriented. At ATCCE the curriculum is designed keeping in view the overall development of a child we conduct weekly, alternate monthly and yearly examination. The classroom is the center of the activities that are undertaken in shaping and grooming the leaders of tomorrow. Our strength lies in our ability to maintain the completeness of our programs, offering unique and important options to each and every person and providing a way to evaluate each student's learning to ensure that we all continue to grow and we remain completely accountable to our community.

Distance Studies |
Distance and Internet education have revolutionized the way that many students earn school credit. No longer do geographical or time barriers restrict where and when students can study. The ATCCE is an organization consisting of ten schools that, offering regionally-accredited online courses and schools programs that are transferable among the consortium schools and others - depending on their requirements. Boundaries may be blurred today, but academic integrity …
ATCCE recognizes that it is difficult for some students to take courses in a traditional environment when they are in traveling, sick or hospitalized. Therefore, their Distance Learning Programs make it easy and convenient to work from one's home or office. Students can learn in one of many 'virtual classrooms', at a more flexible study schedule than many of the traditional college classes. Whilst the classes are flexible, ATCCE still maintains a professional structured element to all of their classes by insuring that all of the courses begin and end at a scheduled date, and assignments and tests are submitted at a particular time.
ATCCE provides effective, successful, and specialized distance learning opportunities since 2006. ATCCE is a national leader in the delivery of distance learning programs to students in Grades 7 to 12. Distance education is offered all the teachers class notes in print, online, and blended formats. ATCCE is provincially-funded to serve students and schools throughout Iran, as well as students around the globe who wish to pursue their education using the ATCCE Program of Studies.
In addition to these 'virtual classes', students can communicate with their teachers and other students over the internet. This is often done through 'ATCCE Online', where it is possible for students to participate in online discussions.
ATCCE uses online technologies to enrich learning experiences and prepares its graduates to be confident and competent using online technologies and in online environments.
Research Department |
The Council and Founders of the ATCCE came out with an idea that, beyond the regular classes should expand their scientific teaching and training services to young and talented students. Therefore ATCCE endeavors to develop the strength and creativities of the talented pupils. After conducting a research and analyzing scientifically, they decided to establish Research Department for the active children. Therefore, Research Department was established in April 2008 and Focuses on:
Research and Development (R&D): Research and development is nowadays of great importance in education as the level of competition, teaching processes and methods are rapidly increasing. It is of especial importance in the field of education where schools keep an eagle eye on competitors in order to keep pace with modern trends and analyze the needs, demands and desires of their students. Research and development normally refers to future oriented, longer-term activities in education and training, using similar techniques to applied research without predetermined outcomes and with broad forecasts of education yield.
Applied Research: This section is related to student's activities where:
Note: all the students can seek help from all teachers at ATCCE or any university teachers.
Robocop & Robotic: preparing of technical equipment and Selection of students for training national and International competition are looked after in this section.
Qualitative Training: School books are focused on limited knowledge, therefore, this section has decided to get the help from dedicated teachers using the latest in computer technology and teaching aids to unique extracurricular programs like extra classes on different topics of philosophy of science, history of science and basic science etc., so ATCCE Schools could foster academic and personal growth.
Publication: this section provides information about the events on recent development of science through wall pamphlets, scientific and public Journals which contains the latest knowledge of science.
International Educational Relation |
Thinking critically and pursuing excellence." This has always been the cultural spirit of ATCCE, which has cultivated numerous students of high quality, and has become an indispensable part of the campus culture of Iranian education, has always attached much importance to the development of student associations.
The ATCCE office had formed a section of Internationalization. The Internationalization is an outgrowth of the ATCCE recently implemented strategic plan and, among other goals, will seek to advance visibility of the ATCCE's extensive international education activities.
The Division of International Educational Relation Activities is responsible for providing vision and leadership in advancing the School’s Strategic Plan Global competitions Initiative and promoting faculty and student involvement in activities that focus on global educational competitions, scientific tours and tournaments.
We welcome students from across the globe to participate on our educational programme, and competitions. The ATCCE offers excellent support services to all its participants in educational competition.
Planetarium |
Here,
in ATCCE, we have a very unique classroom called The ATCCE Planetarium. It is
designed as a theater - in - the - round to simulate the earth and the sky as a
great dome surrounding us. The pupils are taken away from their regular
surroundings as the door closes and the lights are extinguished, and are
transported to another place, time, or world, depending on the limits of their
very fertile imaginations. As the sky rotates, the children feel transported to
new and wonderful destinations here and beyond.
Programs that have been designed to meet the needs of all grade and age levels, and above, but these programs can be adapted to fit into a teacher's lesson(s).
Olympiad Competition |

The Olympiad is a competition among high school students, which are carried
out in the spirit of friendship, tolerance, where the competition is a stimulus
for showing the participants' capabilities but contacts, exchange of ideas and
collaboration between students, teachers and scientists from various countries
have a primary importance, that bring together the world’s most talented high
school students to test their knowledge and skills in Physics, chemistry,
Mathematics, Astronomy and ...
The Olympiads are aimed at developing the imagination, creativity and independent thinking. They stimulate the students to recognize the problem independently, to choose a model, to make necessary suppositions, estimations, to conduct multi way calculations or logic operations. The rounds are not tests of speed or memory or knowledge of formal facts and data, and all basic data and formal facts are provided to the students. The ways of solutions are of the first priority in evaluations of the participants' solutions, while the correct formal final answer (formula or numerical value) do not play the determining role in the evaluation. Participants should have a possibility to exhibit the analytical capacities, and not just to do all procedures by hard rules. Also the jury board does not demand from participants to follow the way of solution that is written by the author or composer of the problem.
The Iranian National and the International Olympiad are multi-tiered competitions. Each year, more than 10,000 high school students nationwide take local exams hoping to compete in the Iranian National Olympiads so they can go for highest level that is International scientific Olympiad competitions. We observe that among the Government and Non Government High Schools at National Olympiad competition in I.R.Iran only 176 students are became eligible for participating in International Olympiad competition, from which 30 are the ATCCE students which are located on top of the list.
It is with great delight that I congratulate the Students for their outstanding results in the Olympiad competition this year.
This achievement would not have been possible without a disciplined and unified effort of the both students and their mentors. I therefore extend my heartfelt thanks towards their teachers and Dorm parents, who were a great source of encouragement to them; the entire school staff who helped to nurture them as well as the parents who have always given us their wholehearted support.
I also take this opportunity to wish our students great success and happiness in life. I pray that they will shine as good citizens imbued with moral excellence and an attitude of service to humanity.
